Palestinian Governments, Stop blackmailing us

Every small or big country on this earth has one government, but some tiny countries have more than one. Palestine has two separate governments on two separate spaces of lands.

OK, I will agree on that and keep silent, but to have both of these governments help my fellow citizens and me. I am not looking at how these governments deal with the Israeli occupation. I am looking at how I am living and how any of these governments offer its services for me and for other citizens, for our children.

When a citizen votes for a certain government, he votes for the one, which he sees, it will achieve the best degree of welfare for him and will improve his life. He does not vote for a government that makes his life difficult and blackmail him and his livelihood and makes him unsafe at his home.

Palestinians lived under the sovereignty of the secularists for 13 years and in 2006 voted for the Islamists in order to see new faces that may get red of the enduring corruption and improve their economic situation. They were tempted by the moderate ideology of the Islamists.

However, the Islamists thought that they won the election that time because of their ideology not because of the desire of the Palestinians to change. Therefore, they went on imposing their policies on the ground. They tried to impose the scarf for women, to prevent naked dummies in clothes shops, invigilate beaches and so on.

Unfortunately, they gave little attention to the livelihood and the main interests of the citizens who have chosen them. They, presumably, have forgotten that citizens who have given them the opportunity to rule not their power or their authority.

During the rule of the Islamists, Palestinians experienced a strict Israelis siege, an unprecedented division between the two already separated parts of the Palestinian territories and an Israeli war that claimed the lives of more than 1,500 and wounded thousands.

During their rule, Gaza residents suffered a strict siege. They do not have enough food, enough electricity or clean water. They cannot travel freely. If I want to write more and more about how the Palestinians are suffering after the Islamists ruled them, I am able to write a book.

The question is: whether you, Islamists and even the secularists, solve our problems and afford us a kind of decent life or you have to quit as soon as possible and give us a chance to choose a new government.

Israeli occupation forces released a police dog to chase Palestinian demonstrators in the West Bank village of Kafr Qaddoum on Friday afternoon.

Photos and video footage showed a Palestinian demonstrator who was bleeding, trying to free himself from the jaws of the wild police dog, but, unfortunately, he couldn’t.

It is shown also that the Israeli soldiers had refused to let other demonstrators to help him.

The man was known as Amed Shatwi. Witnesses told Maan that he was offered first aid treatment on the ground and then was taken to prison.

Earlier on Friday morning, the Israeli occupation forces ended another demonstration at Al Nabi Saleh village. More than 40 demonstrators were reported lightly wounded after being shot by sewage water with a foul smell.

Even dead Palestinians are not exempted of the Israelis humilation

The Israeli occupation forces targeted a Palestinian funeral with sewage water today at noon during its way to cemetery.

I am wondering what is the reason for that? Even the dead can not survive the Israeli humilation.

I hope that the world community wake up to see what the Israelis are doing against the Palestinians and do something to stop it.

I call for all the media all over the world to look at that spot and reflect to the world what is going on there. I am asking all mass media which have reporters and correspondents in Palestine to prove their objectivity.

Gaza children took to street today night holding candles to mark the valentine day in the dark as the main Gaza electric plant stopped.

Authority of energy announced the halt of the plant generators as a result of the shortage of fuel resulted of the strict Israeli siege against the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza electric plant needs 600,000 litres of industrial fuel a day to operate well and support the 1.7m population.

A senior official in the ministry of health in Gaza said that the shortage of electricity threatens the life of hundreds of patients in hospitals. “Patients are already in pain because of the shortage of medicines and medical equipment,” the health official said.

The Gaza Strip has been living under a strict Israeli siege since 2006 and the electric plant was attacked several times by the Israeli wareplanes.

London, December 27, 2011

A 22-year-old civilian has been killed and 10 others wounded; tow of them suffered serious injuries, by two separate Israeli air-strikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening, medical resources said.

The civilian killed in the strike known as Abdullah al Telbani. He was attacked while driving a motor tricycle towards the north of the Strip.

The two seriously wounded were seating with him. All of them were taken to hospital by paramedics.

Witnesses said that an unmanned Israeli plane attacked the motor tricycle and that was confirmed by a statement of  the spokesman of the Israeli occupation forces.

The indicated that the strike was carried out jointly by two Israeli security apparatuses and that the target had been a squad involved in recent terror activity.

Palestinian officials and activists confirmed that the Strip lives a state of quietness for months and there were no Gaza home-made rocket launches.

The other 7 civilians were wounded by an earlier Israeli F 16 strike which the Israelis said that militants were their target.

Meanwhile, paramedics and other witnesses said that the target apparently was a civilian car and all the wounded were civilians. “That refutes comletely the Israeli claims of targeting militants,” a paramedic said.
